Idris and Rudyard arrived today. They are both 12mths old. Idris is all white and slightly smaller than Rudyard who is brown. They have spent their first day settling in and playing with three of our goats Gizmo, Jay, and Lexi. They have also been intrigued watching the horses. 

Gypsy wood entered Snowdonia wildlife gardening competition advertised in the Caernarfon & Herald local paper.Our aim is to keep the park as natural & wild life friendly as possible. We were judged by Anna Williams/Nigel Brown who found it a very enjoyable experience. Nigel heard a spotted flycatcher in the woods which he has not heard for two years plus numerous other birds. They were really impressed with the wetland walk also. Everyone here was extremely proud when presented with a gold certificate from Lord Dafydd Elis Thomas at the prize giving ceremony held at Portmeirion on 10th July.

Wishes do come true winner goes to Oran-Jace Jones age 5 who likes to be called O-jo. His wish was to ride a real bike like his friends. We asked why he thought he deserved his wish to come true? His reply was “because I am a good smiley boy who is always happy no matter what, even though my right leg & arm don’t work very well (Cerebal plausy). 

Gypsywood contacted Theraplay Ltd who went and assessed O-jo and have custom made him his own trike. Due to family circumstances we are waiting for O-jo to collect his bike. Everyone here hopes he enjoys many happy times with his mates. Congratulations.
