Our fairies have picked a winner for our have your WISH COME TRUE 2007 competion. It is presently being sorted. We are unable to give you futher details until everthing has been arranged.

OPENING 2008

Only 10 days left before we open for our 4th season. Everyone here is looking forward to meeting you our visitors.

MO is busy sorting out the shop. Pete with the trains. Cath with the animals. Fairy Godmother looking after our fairies.

Gypsy Wood Park WINS 2 AWARDS FOR ITS Loos
 First time to enter and Gypsy wood Tourist attraction Nr Caernarfon is delighted & proud to have won 5 star grading
plus National category winner of Wales for visitor attractions Loo of the Year Awards in the 2007 search to find the best ‘away from home’ toilets in the UK.
Our entry was in the (Water & Theme Parks / Visitor Attractions category).
Chris Evans (Proprietor) would like to thank Maureen Naylor (shop manager) for her commitment to keeping our toilets in tip top condition.  Sharon Wilson (Mural painter) for the beautiful art work making them special. Our customers really appreciate and enjoy spending a penny with us. The ladies is themed on Fairies & the gents on Thomas the tank.OPEN EASTER to MID September.The Loo of the Year Awards and associated Attendant of the Year Awards for cleaning staff have been identifying the best in the UK since 1987 and are recognised as standard setters for all those who provide `away from home’ facilities for staff, customers and visitors.
Every entry received an unannounced visit from an authorised Loo of the Year Awards Inspector and was assessed against a wide range of judging criteria including signage and decor, fixtures and fittings and overall standards of cleanliness
and management. Every loo receives a star grading and five star winners are short listed for one of a number of National Awards covering England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The 2007 Awards were sponsored by Dyson  Airblade manufacturers of the Revolutionary new hand dryer with additional sponsorship provided by Initial Washroom Solutions Armitage Shanks and The British Cleaning Council together with the four national tourism bodies in England Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland.
Nearly 1500 entries were received this year across the fifty seven separate entry categories of the competition, with many first time establishments joining the increasing number of providers who submit their toilet facilities for an annual,independent assessment.
